Health Mgmt Info System
Managing large complex health delivery programs is always challenging. Doing so without good information and effective communication is impossible. HealthNet is a scalable and secure Health Management Information System (HMIS) designed to support real-time collection, analysis, and exchange of critical health data for management, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Because of its scalability and flexibility, HealthNet can be deployed to support one program area or many. HealthNet can also be used to provide feedback and send alerts and notifications about critical health events to support health workers in the field.

Real-Time Data Collection:
Report health data in real-time from anywhere via the web, mobile or fixed-line phones. Data quality checks are built-in to reduce errors in data entry. Data are immediately transmitted to a secure central data base where they can be reviewed, approved and analyzed.

Dashboards, Standard Reports, Maps and Analytic Tools:
Data entered into the system is immediately available for review and analysis by health officials. Authorized users can access data, view, print and export standard reports and view dashboards, web-based interfaces that display key information "at a glance", including indicators, graphs, alerts, and an interactive geographic information system (GIS) map.

Communications:
The system supports both manual and automated messaging. Notifications are automatically sent based on reported data. For example, the system can send an automated SMS or email to remind health facilities to submit a report or to a district pharmacy if there are reports of drug shortages in that district. The system also gives health officials the ability to send out group and broadcast messages via email and SMS to health facilities with warnings of outbreaks, new protocols, or other information that might be important.

An Enterprise System
HealthNet makes it easy to link health facilities and rapidly create an enterprise-wide information system for ministries of health and other organizations. Healthworkers can use HealthNet with equipment that is already in place from virtually any location using generally available infrastructure - from remote clinics with only access to a phone to central hospitals with broadband Internet connections.
