Health Solutions
HealthWatch
An integrated disease surveillance system for local,
regional and national public health authorities.
HealthWatch is designed to help strengthen the capacity of Local,
Regional and National Health Authorities to detect, monitor and respond to disease
outbreaks. The system is used for integrated disease surveillance, sentinel and
syndromic surveillance in the US, Canada, Latin America, Africa and Asia. Like all
Voxiva solutions, HealthWatch allows staff in the field to submit real-time data reports
to the system via the web, text messaging, a call phone client, a PC client and Interactive
Voice Response (IVR). The data is automatically mapped, charted and analyzed in real time.
Client specific algorithms can be used to automate the process of identifying health events
which can then be sent as alerts to health professionals via SMS or e-mail. Those health
professionals can then use web-based decision support tools to determine what action to
take.
HealthNet
An integrated health management information system (HMIS)
for large-scale health delivery programs.
HealthNet is an information management solution that allows organizations
to rapidly strengthen their capacity to manage major health programs such as HIV/AIDS,
Malaria or Maternal Health. Designed for use by governments, international organizations
and NGOs, the system facilitates real time data collection from field workers and health
care staff and supports structured two way communication to facilitate feedback and supervision.
HealthNet supports program monitoring, drug and critical supply tracking, supervision and
training, and lab reporting. It also incorporates an electronic registry of patient data.
CareNet
A system for monitoring and supporting individual patients on treatment.
CareNet is a solution designed to monitor and support individual patients.
The system is used to support the ongoing care of patients with chronic conditions such as
HIV/AIDS, TB and diabetes. It is also used to support patient monitoring in clinical trials
and adverse event reporting. Patients can report on symptoms, compliance and other key
information using multiple technologies (phone, web and mobile devises). Clinicians can
monitor multiple patients through the CareNet web interface, and receive automated notifications
via SMS and email when patients report specific pre-defined symptoms. The system can also be
used to send out automated reminders to patients to improve adherence to treatment and drug
regimes. The benefits of the system include: closer supervision of patients, reduced burden
on clinicians and reduction in costly office visits.
